IV Cannulas

Every time we have to set an IV we place a cannula into the vein. The advantages of these cannulas are various. The most important is that once inserted, rather than a stiff needle, only a small flexible tube remains in the vein. So if the animal moves its leg, the cannula tube bents along with it without puncturing the vein. Another advantages is that we can leave the cannula in for upto 72 hours so we do not need to prick the animal every time it needs fluids or medication. All those people that hate needles can certainly appreciate this.  All in all it makes administrating an IV much safer and more comfortable for the patient.

We use about 150 to 200 of these every month. It would be a great help if you could sponsor one or more boxes for us.

Sutures

For every sterilisation we need about 40 to 70cm sutures. It is crucial that these sutures are of high quality and that the body can absorb them.  Using such high quality sutures reduces the chances of adverse reaction against the sutures, better absorbation and helps ensures good wound closure.
